James E. Gonzalez, age 59, of Burnsville, passed away on March 28, 2006. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Lou and sister, Mary Colby. He is survived by two sons, Jay (Lisa) and Chris (Gail) and daughter, Amy; five grandchildren; father, Elias; six brothers and four sisters.

James preserved the ability to laugh heartily to the end.

The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Friday in Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Avenue, with his visitation one hour before. There will be a private family interment.
