The Wolverines, who saw their record fall to 3-2 overall, were led by Wade Flattum who had a pair of doubles in the game and scored twice while Seth Buchanan had two hits and drove in four runs.

G-E, playing its fifth game in eight days to open the season, was never able to slow the Awesome Blossoms down.

&8220;They really put the ball in play and anywhere we had a hole they hit it,&8221; said Wolverine head coach Louie Toulouse.

Logan Hansen took the loss for the Wolverines giving up seven runs &045;&160;three earned &045;&160;in 2 1/3 innings of work.

G-E is now off until April 20 when it travels to face Spring Grove.

&8220;Having four straight games has not allowed us to practice and we need to get some practice in and correct some things,&8221; said Toulouse.

&8220;I think this break is coming at a good time for us.&8221;
