Helen Seath, 86, of Wells

Helen Elizabeth Seath, age 86, of Wells, formerly of New Richland, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Parkview Care Center in Wells.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, with visitation one hour before the service. Burial will take place in the Freeborn Cemetery. The Rev. Meg Sander will officiate.

Helen Seath was born July 2, 1919, in Blue Earth, the daughter of Mark and Lillian (Spencer) Kennedy. Helen graduated from Blue Earth High School and Rasmusson Business College. On Sept. 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to Orville Seath in Blue Earth. Helen worked in the A.S.C.S. offices in Blue Earth and Waseca Counties for over 40 years. She was a member of NASCOE (National Association State and County Employees). She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, playing cards and especially enjoyed her family.

Helen is survived by her son, Michael and his wife Jeanne Seath of Woodville, Wis.; one grandson: Scott and his wife Caitlin Seath of St. Paul; one great-grandson: Liam Seath; and a step-granddaughterLeah Moeller of St. Paul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville in 1999 and one brother, Steven Kennedy.
