GRANADA &045;&160;The Glenville-Emmons softball team put on a dominating performance in its season opener downing GHECML 21-2 in five innings.

The Wolverines pounded out 14 hits getting production from throughout its lineup.

Jordan Claussen and Ashley Lau each had three hits in the game with Claussen scoring four runs and Lau crossing home plate twice.

Lindsey Lorenzen scored five runs while pitching all five innings striking out eight and walking just one.

&8220;The girls were very aggressive offensively and it was a nice way to start the season,&8221; said G-E head coach Ziebell.

GHECML scored one run in both the fourth and fifth innings but both were unearned.

The Wolverines are back in action today when they host Alden-Conger.
