Skies were overcast but the temperature was 77 degrees during the American Legion parade Saturday, and plenty of people turned out, lining the most of the parade route.

The parade began on St. Mary Avenue, went south to Clark Street and then headed east to Broadway, before completing the circuit on Fountain Street back to St. Mary Avenue.

Many representatives from the American Legion First District marched and rode in the parade, as part of their convention, held in Albert Lea Saturday.
