ALDEN &045;&160;The Glenville-Emmons softball team used a five hit, 10 strikeout performance by Lindsey Lorenzen to help stop Alden-Conger, 7-5.

G-E was down 3-1 heading into the fifth when it put five runs on the board to take control of the game.

Ashley Lau had a two RBI double in the frame which was matched by Jordan VanRyswyk who finished the game going 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

VanRyswyk would rope another double in the seventh to plate an insurance run.

Randene Davis also had a big night for the Wolverines going 2-for-3.

Vanessa Politz helped drive in two of A-C’s three runs in the third.

G-E now stands at 9-8 overall on the season.
