Lowell Lageson, 85, Ellendale

Memorial services for Lowell E. Lageson of Ellendale, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Ellendale. Reverend Richard Spande will officiate. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Geneva Cemetery, Geneva.

Mr. Lageson died Thursday evening at the Albert Lea Medical Center; he was 85 years of age.

Lowell was born May 29, 1920, in Albert Lea, the son of Edward and Lydia (Jensen) Lageson. He

graduated from Ellendale High School and attended two years of college.

Lowell was engaged in farming and worked for many years at the Clarks Grove Lumber Co. In his free time, Lowell enjoyed fishing, hunting trips up north, carpentry and fixing anything that needed to be done. Lowell served his country in the United States Navy from 1942 through 1945.

Lowell is survived by one sister Geraldine Lageson of Ellendale, brother Marvin A. Lageson of Glenville, nieces Julie (Roger) Ball of Sauk Center, Vickie (Clarence) Rousslang of Sauk Center, Sue (John) Madson of Glenville, Kathy (Rich) Mead of Blooming Prairie and Cindy (Dennis) Jensen of Austin.

Lowell was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Beverly Wallace.
