LAKEVILLE &045; The Albert Lea softball team saw its season come to an end Wednesday with a pair of section losses.

The Tigers lost their first game to Farmington 10-0 before concluding its season with a 10-6 loss to Rochester Mayo.

Farmington pounded out 17 hits against the Tigers while Albert Lea managed just three.

The Tigers would get the offense going in the second game scoring five runs in the fifth inning, but Mayo scored all 10 of its runs in the bottom of the first to seize control of the game.

Mayo had 14 hits in the game while Albert Lea countered with seven but struck out 10 times.

The Tigers finished the season with a 4-18 overall record.
