The Albert Lea boys’ track team took part in a pair of meets in the last week.

Friday, the Tigers were at the Rosemount Invite.

Tom Steele (400), Ben Schreiber (discus) and Ethan Marquardt (3,200) had the highest finishes for the team all taking fourth place in their events.

Wade Kolling took sixth in the discus and Tyler Hitchcock was seventh in the high jump.

Tuesday, the Tigers took part in a triangular with Rochester Mayo and Mankato West.

Steele took first place in both the 200 and 400 and was second in the 100.

Schreiber threw a personal best in the shot put at 45 feet, 11 inches and was fourth in the discus.

Levi Budd took third in the 3,200 and Hitchcock did the same in the high jump.

Matt Morris finished fifth in the 800 with a time of 2:11 in his first try in the event.
