to a very strong team from Spirit Lake Park.

Leading the Rebels with first place finishes were

Sabrina Bushlack in the high jump, Becca Bryson in the triple jump, Jamie Klein in the 3,200-meter run, and the 4×400 team of Bryson, Andrea Allis, Rebecca Leland and Ciara Christenson.

&8220;Our Girls had a very good meet,&8221; said USC/AC head coach Kent Viesselman. &8220;We had a number of season best performances, and competed very well throughout the lineup. Spirit Lake Park is an exceptional track team.&8221;

The boys finished third in their competition behind

two teams that are rated in the top 10 in Minnesota, Fairmont and Hutchinson.

Placing first for the Rebels were

Jesse Courrier in the discus and

Brad Tomschin in the 1,600-meter run.

&8220;We felt going into the meet, that a third or fourth place performance would be a good showing,&8221; said Viesselman. &8220;This is by far our toughest regular season meet.

I’m very pleased with the way our boys competed.&8221;
