Andrew Jellinger, 85, of Brainerd

Andrew Charles Jellinger, age 85, of Brainerd, formerly of Albert Lea and Bay Lake, died June 21, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. He was born on Feb. 12, 1921, in Burlington, Iowa, to Andrew and Dorothy (Cox) Jellinger. He married Priscilla Ann Wayne on June 29, 1947 in Alden, Minn. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was owner and operator of Unique Dry Cleaners in Albert Lea for 25 years. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Deerwood; Cuyuna Range Masonic Lodge 276, Brainerd American Legion, Charter member of the Bay Lake Area Lions.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla &8220;Perk&8221;, sons, Steven (Deborah) Jellinger, Lakeville, Andrew Jellinger, Minneapolis; daughter, Laurie (Robert) Sweeney, Bay Lake, sister, Jane Bernbrock, Brainerd; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Katherine Jellinger, one brother Loren Jellinger.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2006, at Salem Lutheran Church, Deerwood. Friends may call on Monday one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. If so desired memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
