Caroline Rayman, 99, Glenville

Memorial services for Caroline &8220;Carrie&8221; Marie Rayman, age 99, formerly of Glenville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in Glenville. The Rev. Joyce Shaman will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery. Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Carrie died Friday, June 9, 2006, at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood, Iowa.

Caroline Marie Rayman was born April 26, 1907, to Joseph and Emma (Cafourek) Prizler in Freeborn County. On Sept. 26, 1928, she married Tony Rayman in Albert Lea. The couple farmed in the Myrtle area until 1971 when she moved to Glenville. Carrie had also worked at Land O’ Lakes. In 2005, she moved to Albert Lea and recently became a resident of the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood. Carrie was active in the United Methodist Church in Glenville. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was especially known for her angel food cakes.

Survivors include her son, Dayton and his wife, Coralie Rayman of Glenville; daughter, Renee and her husband Ronald Kycek of Deerfield, Wis.; grandchildren: Kristi and her husband, Mike Twohig of Waterloo, Wis., Jason and his wife, Loida Kycek of LaQuinta, Calif.; David and his wife, Amy Rayman of Stewartville, and Adam Rayman of Albert Lea; step grandson, Jeff Kloehn of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren.

Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Rayman; one sister; and two brothers.
