Danielle R. Johnson, age 30, of Rochester, died on Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Friday, June 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at the church one hour prior to the service.
Danielle Renee Sculley was born on Dec. 20, 1975, in Mankato to Thomas and Sue (Wright) Sculley. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1994 and from Winona State University in 2002. She married Craig G. Johnson on May 18, 2002, in Rochester. Danielle was employed as a social worker at REM River Bluffs, Rochester and was a member of Meadow Park Church of Christ, Rochester. Danielle especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Craig; two children at home, Donaven, age 3 and Liric, age 5 months; her mother and stepfather, Sue (and Lee) Tollefson of Faribault; her father, Tom (and Terri) Sculley of Northwood, Iowa; six siblings, Brent (and Jenna) Sculley of Eagan; David (and Trudy) Tollefson of Coon Rapids, Dan (and Beth) Tollefson of Farmington, Amy (and Brian) Nielsen of Hartland, Michael (and Val) Thomas of Northwood, Iowa and Rhiannan (and Jared) Combs of Mason City, Iowa; paternal grandmother, Georgene Sculley of Austin; mother in law, Barbara Johnson Vernio of Miami, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Michael Vernio of River Falls, Wis.; a close friend, John Davis of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Beryl and Floyd Wright and paternal grandfather, Ambrose Sculley.
