The memorial service for Gary A. Clausen, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 9, at the First Baptist Church in Albert Lea.

The Rev. Clayton Balsley will officiate. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery. Friends may visit with family one hour before the service at the church.

Gary was born on Feb. 4, 1954, in Waseca, the son of Sylvester C. and Dorothy L. (Wallis) Clausen.

Gary had worked at the Hollandale Marketing Association, Albert Lea Medical Center in the janitorial department and had also fixed cars and did chimney sweeping.

Gary died at his home on June 1, 2006. He was 52.

Gary is survived by his daughter Amanda Evans and her husband Brandon, Albert Lea, and their children Ashlyn, Mallory, and Kaylee; brothers, Dennis Clausen of Albert Lea and David Clausen and his wife Dorothy of Tempo, Texas; half-brother Ronald &8220;Butch&8221; Hansen and Rose Antile of Clarks Grove; half-sisters: Joann Peterson of Bricelyn, Carol and her husband Donald Jensen, of

Bricelyn; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Darlene.
