EMMONS &045;&160;The New Richland Legion baseball team broke open a 4-3 game in the top of the seventh inning with 10 runs to down Glenville-Emmons, 14-3.

New Richland pounded out 16 hits in the game and committed just two errors while G-E had three hits and eight errors.

&8220;It is awful hard to win when you commit eight errors in a game and give them so many chances,&8221; said Glenville-Emmons head coach Louie Toulouse.

Michael Greibrok started for G-E and although he gave up 14 hits in six innings he allowed just two earned runs.

G-E used a walk and a couple of wild pitches to score twice in the second frame and tied the game at 3-3 in the fifth when Bridger Bjorklund was driven in by Greibrok.

New Richland would reclaim the lead in the top of the sixth, but three G-E errors proved to be the catalyst for the visitors to break the game open in the seventh.

G-E is back in action tonight when it travels to face Adams.
