Michael Greibrok picked a good time to pitch a great game helping Glenville-Emmons down Blooming Prairie, 4-2, Wednesday night in postseason play.
Greibrok give up one earned run in seven innings while striking out nine and walking one.
&8220;This is one of the better games he has pitched in his career,&8221; said G-E head coach Louie Toulouse. &8220;He also helped himself defensively getting three of the five putouts we had in the game.&8221;
Blooming Prairie was threatening in the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded having already scored a run, but Greibrok got the strikeout to end the game.
Devin Kaasa and Wade Flattum each scored in the top of the seventh to give the G-E a cushion on the scoreboard.
G-E will face the winner of Adams-Dodge Center Friday at 8 p.m. in Dodge Center.
