The funeral service for Dennis D. Broitzman was 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85056 134th St, Glenville, with the Rev. Jeffrey Wallager officiating. Burial will be Wanderers Rest Cemetery in Glenville.

Mr. Broitzman, age 59, of Millville, and formerly of Glenville, died Sunday morning, Aug. 13, 2006, at his home in rural Millville.

Dennis Dale Broitzman was born Jan. 17, 1947, in Glenville, to Willmar and Nadine (Olson) Broitzman. He attended elementary school and graduated in 1965 from Glenville High School.

Dennis farmed his entire lifetime in the Northwood/ Glenville area. He married Winifred Ferguson on July 16, 1966, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was later divorced, and then married Joyce Wrobel Krusmark on March 10, 2002, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle. He was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed casino gaming, loved welding, motorcycling, and loved horses and playing with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce M. Broitzman, of Millville; one daughter, Kelli (Shane) Dittrich of Austin; one son, Brian

Broitzman (Aunde Erlandson) of Albert Lea; two step-daughters, Dorothy (Orrin) Haugen of Mazeppa, and Darla (Curtis) Tesmer of Millville; one step-son, Bill (Jean) Krusmark of Millville; his mother, Nadine Broitzman of Albert Lea; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roger Broitzman of Glenville and Lonny (Sue) Broitzman of New Richland.

He was preceded in death by his father, and one granddaughter.

Friends visited from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, in Lake City.
