The funeral service for Elnor &8220;Nels&8221; Betty Sanvik, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jay Dahlvang will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may visit with family one hour before the service at the church.

Elnor died on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 80.

She graduated from Albert Lea High School. She had worked at the Telephone Co., Skinners and later worked and retired from Wilson Co.

Elnor was united in marriage to George Sanvik in 1945.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, where she had been active in circle. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends.

Elnor is survived by nephew: James Harris and his wife Denise of Des Moines, Iowa, for whom she was a guiding light; also surviving are brothers and sisters: Allan Nelson of Dallas, Texas, Phyllis Olson, Lois Nelson both of Albert Lea, Julie Osetek, James Nelson of St. Petersburg, Fla., Susan Trammel of Glendale, Calif., nephew: Christopher Nelson of Dallas, Texas, nieces Dori Nelson of Dallas, Texas, Peggy Olson of Albert Lea, Nancy Olson and many special friends.
