The memorial service for Rosemary &8220;Penny&8221;

Pennington Wulff, of Albert Lea, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the First Presbyterian Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Dwight Netzer will officiate. Visitation with her family will be one hour prior to the service.

Rosemary died Monday, July 31, 2006, at her home following a short illness. Several family members were with her at her passing. She was 85 years old.

Rosemary was born July 20, 1921, in Rochester, to Frederick and Jessie (Hack) Pennington. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1938 and Macalester College in 1943. She married Russell Wulff in 1944 at Rochester, Minn. They moved to Albert Lea in 1948. Rosemary was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had been employed by the Mayo Clinic Lab in Rochester and later worked for the Albert Lea Medical Center in Medical Records. She was on the Board of Directors for Alamco Wood Products of Albert Lea.

Rosemary was very active in the Albert Lea community. She chaired Meals On The Go for over 30 years, belonged to the Audubon Society, volunteered for the Freeborn County Historical Society, Naeve Hospital Auxiliary and Naeve Auxiliary Board, Friends of the Library and also served on the Albert Lea Public Library Board. She was active with Literacy Education, Albert Lea Art Center, Civic Music and was awarded Valiant Woman of the year in 1993 by Church Women United of Albert Lea. Rosemary had been recognized numerous times for various volunteer activities.

Rosemary is survived by five children: Jeff Wulff and his wife Patricia of Rochester, Allan Wulff and his wife Teresa of Roanoke, Va., Kevin Wulff and his wife Becky of Rochester, Rusty Wulff and his wife Betsy of Elkhorn, Wis., Andrea Wulff of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren: Aaron of Minneapolis, Laura of Waverly, Iowa, Mitchell of Minneapolis, Amy, Jennifer and Jake of Rochester, Nathaniel and Zoe of Roanoke, Va., Zachary of Mankato, and Mariah of Elkhorn, Wis.; brother: Ralph of Mesa, Ariz.; sister: Dorothy Powel of Tallahassee, Fla., and numerous friends.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; brothers: Milo, Don, Dave, Stan and sister: Bernice.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the Albert Lea Audubon Society or Crossroads Community Hospice.
