Mary R. Elkins, 80, of Moline, died Friday, September 22, 2006 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, Ill.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline and 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Moline where she was a member. Visitation is Sunday from 2 &045; 5 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary at 2 p.m. Burial is at Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family to support Catholic education.

Mary was born August 1, 1926 in Geneseo, the daughter of P. August and M. Leontine VanHolderbeke Meiresonne. She married Paul N. Elkins on June 10, 1961 in Moline. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1999.

Mary retired from the former Brenton Bank, Davenport in 1991.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Marcia Templeman, Albert Lea and Kathy and James Schneider, Downers Grove, Ill; grandchildren Sean and Evan Templeman and Xavier Schneider and a sister Augusta Grunewald, Moline.
