Ronald &8220;Ronnie&8221; Maynard Kaderabek was a devoted husband and father. He was born in Hollandale on Nov. 15, 1929. Ron was the father of two sons, Scott and Bradely. He was the grandfather to Nicole, Heather, Taylor, and Kevin Kaderabek.
Ron and Carol were married for 55 years and 10 months. They courted for three months while Ron was in the U.S. Air Force. They married and Carol and Ron began his military career taking them all over the world for 21 1/2 years. Ron was still young enough for a second career and using his military skills in electronics, he built testing equipment for the U.S. Geological Survey in the earthquake research division in Menlo Park. This was a very interesting job and took him all over the world on scientific projects. Having traveled so much throughout their married life, 6223 Rainbow Drive was like a palace to them. It was a home that allowed Ron to garden and work on projects around the house from repairs, to auto maintenance, to remodeling projects. He still liked to travel, bowl, and play card games. He enjoyed being an active member of the IOOF, Cupertino 70 brotherhood. He loved his many doggies and his most recent &8220;Ginger&8221; who preceded him in death by only a few days.
Ron was a true friend to so many and he loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much. He will be dearly missed.
