Vincent Wendelboe, 41, Albert Lea

Memorial services for Vincent L. Wendelboe, former Albert Lea resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Church of Christ Christian in Albert Lea. The Rev. Mike Gerhardt will officiate. Friends may visit with family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church.
Vincent died suddenly as a result of a brain aneurysm on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, in Rochester. He was 41.
He was born in Spring Valley, Ill., on Jan. 20, 1965, the son of and Bonnie R. (Lee) and Eilert Wendelboe Jr.
He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1983, and attended Rasmussen School of Business in Mankato.
Vincent had been employed at Streater in Albert Lea and also worked for Roger Legred on the farm.
He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. Vince played in pool and dart leagues.
Vince is survived by his girlfriend Sabrina Jensen, two brothers: Wade Wendelboe and his wife Mary and their son Alec of Albert Lea, Jason Wendelboe and his wife Rebecca and their children Ashley and Garrett of Frederik, Wis., many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Vince was especially fond of his niece Ashley and nephews Alec and Garrett and loved spending time with them. He also so appreciated having an opportunity to be a part of Sabrina&8217;s family &8220;The Jensen&8217;s.&8221;
He was preceded in death by his parents Eilert and Bonnie, nephew Michael, son of Jason and Rebecca, grandparents Ernest &8220;Patsy&8221; Lee, Pearl Lee, and Alice Mae and Eilert Wendelboe Sr.
