Ardys Fuller, 68, Albert Lea

The memorial service for Ardys Ann Fuller of Albert Lea will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at East Freeborn Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Hernes will officiate. Friends may visit one hour before the service with her family.

Ardys died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at her home. She was 68 years old.

Ardys was born April 12, 1938, in Glenville, to Clarence W. and Louise (Paxton-Wadsworth)

Hansen. She married Marvin Fuller on April 18, 1960, in Owatonna.

Ardys graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1956. She had resided in Glenville but most of her life she resided in Albert Lea. Ardys had worked as a legal secretary for attorney Floyd Nicols and Attorney Ed Christian until 1972. In 1972 to present she owned and operated Fullers Tax Service in Albert Lea and Austin. She was director for the National War Dads Association, Cub Scout leader for 10 years and started the pack in Clarks Grove.

Ardys loved horses and animals, and had a training stable for many years. She enjoyed collecting collectibles, beanie babies and had a large art collection. She especially enjoyed her pet dogs: Casey and Cricket.

Ardys is survived by her husband Marvin of Albert Lea; mother, Louise Hansen of Pontiac, Mich.; three sons: Scott (Michelle) Fuller of St. James, Kipp Fuller and his significant other Christine Compton of Albert Lea, and Terry (Lori) Fuller of Waseca; daughter-in-law, Barbara Fuller of Austin; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Shirley (Claire) Torgerson of Pontiac, Mich.; and brother Roland (Kaye) Hansen of Charlotte, N.C.

Ardys is preceded in death by her father Clarence; brother Larry; and sister Clarine.
