Brian Ingvaldson, 35, Northwood

The funeral service for Brian Harold Ingvaldson of Northwood, Iowa will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Community Lutheran Church, Geneva. The Rev. Joel Xavier will officiate. Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Ellendale and one hour before the service at the church.

Brian died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, in rural Northwood, Iowa. He was 35 years old.

Brian was born Aug. 2, 1971, in Albert Lea to Leroy and Linda (Miller) Ingvaldson.

Brian graduated in 1989 from Ellendale-Geneva High School. He graduated from Albert Lea Technical College in Diesel Mechanic and worked 12 years as a Diesel Mechanic for Norsemen Trucking. Brian then received his bachelor of science degree in management and accounting from Hamilton College, Mason City, Iowa, in July of 2006.

Brian worked for Pritchard Auto in Lake Mills and Forest City, Iowa, and worked for Hormel in their Corporate Office.

Brian enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf, snowmobiling and canoeing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and going on the family vacations.

Brian is survived by his parents: Leroy and Linda Ingvaldson of rural Ellendale; brothers and sisters: Mike Ingvaldson and his wife Kari of Ellendale and their child Tristan, Nancy Ingvaldson of Eden Prairie, Jason Ingvaldson of Burnsville, Lori Hossli and her husband Josh of Minneapolis and Dan Ingvaldson of Burnsville; grandmother: Maxine Miller of Blooming Prairie; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Brian is preceded in death by two infant sisters; grandparents: Melvin and Alma Ingvaldson and grandfather: Harold Miller; cousin: Matt and Joan Heikes and uncle Doug Miller.
