Gary Wigern, 42, Blue Earth

Gary Alan Wigern, age 42, of Blue Earth, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Atlanta, Ga., from an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior&8217;s Lutheran Church in Kiester. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells and one-hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
The Rev. Dick Steffen will officiate. Burial will be in Our Savior&8217;s Lutheran Cemetery in Kiester.
Gary Alan Wigern was born Nov. 29, 1963, the son of Manville and Jeanette (Schroeder) Wigern in Wells. He graduated from Kiester High School, the class of 1982. He attended college at Jackson Technical College. He worked and lived in several states prior to moving back to Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Tammy Elvebak in Kiester on Oct. 2, 1993. He was a Master Electrician and worked for Seneca Foods in Blue Earth, Minn. He enjoyed snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, dartball, hunting, NASCAR, playing ball with his boys and enjoyed his family.
He is survived by his wife Tammy of Blue Earth; two sons: Andrew and Benjamin of Blue Earth; his parents: Manville and Jeanette Wigern of Walters; one brother: Larry and his wife Kathy Wigern of Kiester; two sisters: Karen and her husband Terry Baynes of Kiester, Carol and her husband John Howard of Madison Lake; father and mother-in-law: Larry and Clarine Elvebak of Kiester; three brothers-in-law: Marcus and Stacey Elvebak of Kiester, Larry &8220;Gubbs&8221; and Vanessa Elvebak of Georgia, Mitch and Melanie Elvebak of Waconia; the sisters-in-law: Brenda and Pete Seys of Mankato, Penny and Brad Engeseth of Kiester, Joni and Jeff Henrikson of Buffalo; nieces and nephews: Nicholas and wife Michele Wigern, Mitchell Wigern, James and Lindsay Frey, Patrick Freeberg, Allison and Austin Howard; Justin, Masyn, Ethan, Tiffany and Chelsey Elvebak; Theo Elvebak; Lyndy and Abigail Elvebak; Shawna (Justin) Mack, Samantha and Stuart Seys; Haley and Jacob Engeseth; Marisa and Jeffrey Hendrickson, two grand-nieces: Alonna and Lorelai; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
