The Funeral Service for Iloe Wilmette (Billie) Gillrup, will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jay Dahlvang will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may visit with family one hour before services at the church.

Billie died on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at St. John&8217;s Lutheran Home. She was 92.

Billie was born in Albert Lea on Oct. 16, 1914, the daughter of William B. and Ida (Satre) Bjornstad. She graduated from High School in 1932.

On Aug. 4, 1937, Billie was united in marriage to Richard (Happy) Gillrup. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1988.

Billie worked as secretary at Wolgamot Insurance Agency and secretary at Evans Collection Agency. She traveled with her husband and then was secretary for Freeborn Country Probation Officers and was juvenile court reporter.

Billie is survived by her sister-in-law Edith Bjornstad, cousins, two nephews, and one niece and dear and wonderful friends.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, one sister &8220;Jackie&8221; Talbot, one brother, William Bjornstad Jr. and her in-laws, Harry and Zella Gillrup.
