No paddleboat zone

At 9:59 p.m. Tuesday, members of the junior class were caught trying to put a paddleboat on some poles in the pond near Albert Lea High School with an &8220;08&8221; sign. They were spoke to and putting things back where they found them.
Shoplifter reported
According to police reports, at 7:06 a.m. Tuesday, a juvenile male shoplifter was caught in Kwik Trip #805 at 1210 E. Main St.
Man cited for driving after suspension
Nicholas Otterson, 21, was cited for driving after suspension of his license, no proof of insurance and use of revoked plates at the intersection of Fountain Street and Newton Avenue Wednesday at 1:52 a.m., according to police reports.
Hail reported
A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect from 2:45 a.m. to 3:45 a.m. last night for Freeborn County. Fire departments were paged and baseball size hail was reported in the area of County Road 5 and Interstate 35. According to police reports, cars came in off of freeway with broken windows.
Bike found
A woman reported finding a newer red BMX bicycle abandoned in her back yard at 1901 E. Marshall St. at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to police reports.
