Clarice Moen, 59, Tenstrike

Funeral services for Clarice L. Moen, age 59, of Tenstrike, formerly of Hartland, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Church of St. Theodore. The Rev. Jim Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate.

Interment will be at St. Theodore&8217;s Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Clarice died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Clarice Loretta Moen was born July 27, 1947, to Alvin and Betty (Anthony) Siemer in Marshall. She grew up in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1965.

Clarice was united in marriage to John Moen on Aug. 28, 1965, at the Church of St. Theodore.

She worked at a number of places before being employed at Mrs. Gerry&8217;s for 13 years.

For the last 20 years, John and Clarice have owned and operated Moen&8217;s Birchaven Campground in Tenstrike.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, and being with her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, John of Tenstrike; children, Debbie and her husband, Jamie of St. Cloud, Lonny of Tenstrike, Troy and his wife, Shelly of Tenstrike, and Gwen and her husband, Rick of Grand Forks Air Force Base; 13 grandchildren; brother, Quentin and his wife, Alvina Siemer of Tucson, Ariz., sister, Gerry and her husband Jerry Vogt of Albert Lea; brother, Gary Siemer and his special friend, Diane of Elgin; and several nieces and nephews.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law and father-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.

Clarice will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
