Marlin Hedum, 61, Tacoma, Wash.

Memorial services for Kiester native Marlin E. Hedum, age 61, of Tacoma, Wash., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Our Savior&8217;s Lutheran Cemetery in Kiester following the service.

Marlin was born Jan. 29, 1945, in Kiester, one of 13 children of Thomas and Louise (Fosness) Hedum. He graduated from Kiester High School.

Marlin was a great gun collector. He worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker and had worked at Streater in Albert Lea.

Marlin enjoyed his life and loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joan of Tacoma, Wash.; sons Scott, Darin and Jeff; sister Marian Bebeau; brothers Alfred, Elmo, Lee, Art, Elwood and Tom Hedum; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Melvin, Richard and one brother in infancy; and sisters Doris and Mildred.
