Lucille Kittelson, 88, Albert Lea

Lucille &8220;Lu&8221; Kittelson, 88, of Albert Lea, died at her home Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at her home 1401 Plainview Lane in Albert Lea. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Albert Lea.

The Rev. John Henriksen will officiate. Interment will be in East Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church. She was born on May 1, 1918, in Riceland Township, the daughter of Martin and Cora (Lindsey) Enderson.

She graduated from Albert Lea High School and also took some computer classes at college. She married Oscar Kittelson on June 25, 1944, in rural Albert Lea.

The lived in Clarks Grove for 20 years moving to Albert Lea in 1964.

Oscar died in 1984. Lucille was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a former confirmed member of East Freeborn Lutheran Church where she had been active in Ladies Aid, Altar Guild, and Choir and had taught Sunday school. Lucille had worked at Northpark for 30 years.

She spent her later years working at Riverland College, Naeve Hospital and at Senior Resources for almost 10 years as a transportation clerk.

Lucille is survived by her daughter Judy Anderson of Albert Lea and her special friend; sisters, Catherine Edmonds of Streator, Ill. and Phyllis Indrelie of Albert Lea; and several nieces, nephews, great, great, and great nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death, as did her husband Oscar; two sisters, Pearl Anderson and Ethel Enderson; and a brother in infancy, Milton Enderson.

We will always cherish the memories she left with us.
