No. 6 Rebels continue to roll

The sixth-ranked United South Central wrestling team picked up a pair of convincing wins before the holiday break.
The Rebels downed Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton 66-6 and Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial 43-17 in triangular action.
Against J-W-P, Zach Wigern and Dustin Dylla got the Rebels off to a strong start with technical falls at 103 and 112. Preston Staloch earned a 4-3 decision at 119.
Dylan Nelson pinned Andy Eustice at 125 for USC before J-W-P finally got on the board when No. 4 Jesse Westphal pinned No. 5 Seth Amberg in 3:58.
Daniel Sandt and Dylan Thisius earned decisions for the Rebels and No. 10 Jake Bonsack and Brian Wood had pins.
Wigern and Dylla wrestled well against LCWM as well each earning major decisions while Nelson added a major win at 125.
Amberg got a pin at 130 and Sandt, Bonsack and Wood were also victorious once again. Luke Beyer pinned Tyler McMonagle at 189 and Cassidy Carlson needed just 19 seconds to end his match at 285.
