Robert Budach, 73, Glenville

Funeral services for Robert E. Budach, age 73, of Glenville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at First Lutheran Church in Glenville.
The Rev. Mark Wendland will officiate.
Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 7

Bob died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at the Albert Lea Good Samaritan Center.
Robert E. Budach was born May 9, 1933, to Gustav Jr. and Ida E. (Schwarz) Budach in Minnesota Lake.
Bob was baptized at St. Paul’s Evangelican Church in Minnesota Lake.
He was confirmed in First Lutheran Church, rural Minnesota Lake.
He grew up in the Wells area and graduated from Wells High School in 1951.
Bob attended Augsburg College before being drafted into the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.
His first marriage was to Patricia Bartlett on Dec. 27, 1953.
Bob spent most of his life in the Glenville area and was employed as a supervisor over 40 years at Wilson’s, Farmstead, and Quality Pork Processing.
On June 3, 1978, he married JeVonne Flaten Rayman at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Bob was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Glenville, American Legion Post 264, and the VFW and had served on the Glenville City Council.
Bob also painted since the age of 15.
Survivors include his wife, JeVonne of Glenville; children: Debra (Steve) Delger of Glenville, Michael (DiAnn) Budach of Mankato, Daniel (Jill) Budach of Buffalo Lake, and Gregory (Michelle) Budach of Janesville; step children: Daniel (Kathy) Rayman, Craig (Marcia) Rayman, Jeff (Michelle) Rayman, Lisa (Daniel) Ziebell, and Laurie (Edward) Lundmark; grandchildren: Jeremy (Kara), Josh (Jackie), and Jillian Delger, Matt, Eric, Andrew, Jacob, and Sara Budach, Kya Budach, and Kyle, Michaela, Emily, and Bradley Budach; step grandchildren: Amy (Brad) Schuhmacher, Jenni (Chad) Mattson, Christy Rayman, Alyson, Alisa, and Dustin Rayman, Chase and Cassie Rayman, Tyler, Chelsey, and Madison Ziebell, and Blake and Brianne Lundmark; great-grandchildren, Lauryn Delger and Landon Mattson; brothers-in-law, Clair (Sharon) Flaten and Ray Klingbeil; sisters-in-law, Frances Budach and Mary Ann Flaten; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vi Klingbeil; brother, Harold; brother-in-law, Tom Flaten; and grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Budach and Shanna Rayman.
Bob’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
Bob was also an avid sports fan.
He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
