Dorothy Neitzel, age 94, of Waterville, formerly of Wells, went home to be with Jesus Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at the Waterville Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the United Methodist Church in Wells. The Rev. Art Keith will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery in Wells.

Dorothy Neitzel was born on June 12, 1912, in Minnesota Lake, the daughter of Ernest J. and Lena (Kluender) Kauffmann. On June 29, 1933, she married Willie E. Neitzel in Waseca. They farmed in the Matawan area. She was a member of the Wells United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, gardening, traveling and loved flowers.

She is survived by one son, Willis and his wife Barbara Neitzel of Waterville;

four grandchildren; six step grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn &8220;Dolly&8221; Tolzmann of Mapleton; one brother, Donald Kauffmann of Minnesota Lake; one sister-in-law, Norma Kauffmann of Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Willie E. Neitzel; one sister, Lorene (husband Bill) Schwarz; four brothers, Harold (wife Marie) Kauffmann, Roy (wife Martha) Kauffmann, Adrian (wife Margaret) Kauffmann and Vernon Kauffmann; and her sister-in-law, Marjorie Kauffmann.
