Eleanor Dubey, 72, Moses Lake, Wash.

Eleanor E. Dubey passed away early Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007.

Born Eleanor Elaine Anderson in Austin on March 23, 1934, she married Clayton H. Dubey and moved to Albert Lea in 1951 where they raised their family and lived until 1977.

A very active member of D.O.E.S Chapter #70 in Albert Lea, Eleanor served as Chapter President 1974-1975 and was elected D.O.E.S State President in 1977 before relocating to Washington. In Moses Lake, Wash. her many friends and co-workers knew her as &8220;Ellie.&8221;

She worked at the Ranch and Home store for the first few years before putting her talents to work for the Moses Lake School District as a cook. She especially enjoyed being around the children every day. Ellie was an avid bowler and secretary for the league in Moses Lake. She also enjoyed regular snowmobiling trips in the mountains of Washington.

Ellie passed peacefully at home after a long illness and is now reunited with her son Carl who preceded her in death four years earlier.

She is survived by her husband Clayton; daughters Vicki Glover and Peggy Dubey all of Moses Lake, Wash. She also leaves behind her sister Pat Weber of Austin. Eleanor had six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she also loved.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser&8217;s Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.
