Lance Klimek, 35, Rochester

The memorial service for Lance Michael Klimek will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at St. Theodore Catholic Church.

The Rev. James Berning will officiate. Burial will be in St. Theodore Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.

Lance died on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in Ironwood, Mich.

He was 35 years old.

Lance was born in Milwaukee, Wis. on May 15, 1971 the son of William and Esther (Klimek) Zezulka.

He was baptized and confirmed at St. Theodore Catholic Church.

He attended grade school in Clarks Grove and was a 1989 graduate of Albert Lea High School.

He attended Alexandria Technical College from 1990-1992.

He enlisted with the U.S. Army National Guard in 1990 and served as a Military Policeman in Desert Storm from 1990-1991 and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army National Guard in 1996..

On Oct. 7, 1995, Lance was united in marriage with Jennifer Paulson in Bethel Lutheran Church, Rochester.

He was presently working as project manager and estimator for Superior Mechanical in Rochester.

He was inducted into the Rochester Area Builders and Remodelers Council in 2007 and was a trustee on the Builders Exchange. He was a member of the Early Risers Sertoma Club.

His interests included:

NASCAR Racing, hunting, fishing, camping and golfing.

The most cherished times were spent with his family and friends.

Lance is survived by his wife, Jennifer of Rochester; two sons, Cade Michael and Connor Jon of Rochester; parents, Esther and William Zezulka of Clarks Grove; one brother, Paul (Dena) Zezulka of Onalaska, Wis.; two sisters:

Lisa (Adam) Conn of Albert Lea and Leah (Andy) Johnson of Farmington; nieces and nephews:

Erin and Justin Zezulka of Onalaska, Wis. and Hannah and Tanner Conn of Albert Lea; mother and father-in-law, Jon and Gloria Paulson of Salem, S.D.; two brothers-in-law:

Christian Paulson of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Jon Paulson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; one sister-in-law, Betze (Andy) Deutz of Lake Benton; great grandfather-in-law, Herman Sogard of Golden Valley.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorials may be given to a trust account set up for Lances two sons Cade and Connor through Think Credit Union, Rochester.
