Pamela J. Olmanson, age 53, of Waseca, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Immanuel-St. Joseph&8217;s Hospital in Mankato.
Born in Waseca on Feb. 4, 1954, she was the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy (Munson) Robran. She graduated from New Richland-Hartland High
School in 1972 and later Mankato State University where she received her bachelor&8217;s degree in nursing with honors. Pamela married Kent Olmanson on Dec. 23, 1972, at the Hartland Evangelical
Lutheran Church. She worked as a nurse at the Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home and Waseca Area Memorial Hospital and also at Immanuel St. Joseph&8217;s Hospital in Mankato in the renal dialysis department. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, shopping, and doing things for others. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and other family. Pamela was a member of the Hartland Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid, and Altar Guild.
She is survived by her husband, Kent of Waseca; three children, Aaron (Heather) Olmanson of Maple Grove, Andrea (Joe) Schumacher of Waseca, and Jesse (Jenny) Olmanson of Farmington; four grandchildren, Sophia and Chloe Schumacher and Nathaniel and Matthew Olmanson.
She is also survived by her parents, Cecil and Dorothy Robran of Hartland; one sister, Becky (Tom) Goetz of Bloomington; four brothers, Bill (Marilyn) Robran, Kent (Julie) Robran, and Kevin (Marlene) Robran, all of Hartland, and Blake Robran of St. Peter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartland Evangelical
Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis Schmidt officiating.
Burial will follow at the Hartland Cemetery.
