Filmore Central forfeited at eight weights to NRHEG while the Panthers got pins from Schlaak, No. 1 Taylor Holland and heavyweight Erik Olson.

The Panthers would conclude their day with wins over teams that had defeated them in a tournament just a few weeks ago.

NRHEG downed Dover-Eyota 42-22 and Wabasha-Kellogg 47-24.

Schroeder and fifth-ranked Brandon Schlaak got NRHEG off to a strong start recording pins at 103 and 119 against D-E.

David Lindell and Brekke would help the Panthers close strong recording first-period pins at 160 and 171.

&8220;After losing to Dover-Eyota and Wabasha with a skeleton lineup at Kasson, we had an opportunity to compete with a full squad on Saturday and the difference was obvious,&8221; NRHEG head coach Paul Cyr said. &8220;Individually, the biggest change for us was getting Josh Schroeder down to 103. He responded by going 4-0 with three pins so we had a lead in all four of our Saturday duals.&8221;

The Panthers finish the regular season with a 21-11 dual record and will now prepare for the section 2A tournament this weekend in Medford.
