GLENVILLE &045; Glenville-Emmons&8217; defense kept the girls in their game with Spring Grove for a half, but it wasn&8217;t enough to get them the win as they fell, 52-32, Friday night.

G-E was down just three at halftime, but Spring Grove was able to use its inside game to get the win.

Ashley Lau faced a box-and-1 all night long and was limited to just three points, but she did have five assists. Jordyn VanRyswyk had a big night recording a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

The Wolverines held Spring Grove to just one 3-pointer in the game after giving up seven in their first meeting. However, G-E went 6 of 22 at the line while Spring Grove was 13 of 26.

G-E is back in action Monday night when it hosts Alden-Conger in its regular season finale.
