Trip to St. Paul focuses on states environmental issues

Hundreds of citizens from across Minnesota will come together in St. Paul on Feb. 21 to meet with their legislators about environmental concerns.

Albert Leans interested in participating in the Citizens&8217; Day at the Capitol event can meet at Skyline Mall at 9:15 a.m. that day to drive up to St. Paul.

Buses will leave the mall at 9:30 a.m. for St. Paul with one stop in Northfield.

At noon there will be a rally in the rotunda of the State Capitol, and from 12:30 to 3 p.m. there will be legislative meetings in the Capitol and State Office Building.

The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Environmental Partnership, which is a coalition of more than 80 non profit environmental and conservation organizations working together to protect, restore and enhance Minnesota&8217;s natural resources.
