Henry Borglum, 74, St. Paul

Henry M. (Hank) Borglum, 74, of St. Paul (formerly of Albert Lea), died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Fairview University Hospital, Minneapolis.
Hank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Catherine (Katie); children, Anne Baker, St. Paul;
Julie (Doug) Boyer, Austin; Morris (Sue) Borglum, Mankato; Milo, Helena, Mont.; Rita (Mitch) Treptow, Wells; grandchildren, Cory Knutson, Taylor Mills, Ky.; Zach Beckmann, Minneapolis; Lacy Knutson, Brookings, S.D.; Tyrell Treptow, Minneapolis; Melisse Treptow, Wells; Dani and Allie Borglum, Mankato; Hannah Baker, St. Paul. Hank is also survived by his sister, May Monson, Blue Earth; and
a brother, Leo, Cozad, Neb.
Hank was born in Brush Creek Township to John and Karla Borglum.
He attended Bricelyn High School and graduated in 1951. He played football, basketball, baseball, and track in high school. He was a member of the 1949 Bricelyn undefeated football team.
After his four-year service in the U.S. Navy, he married Catherine Stenzel, Wells, in 1956. Hank and Katie lived in the Wells/ Bricelyn area until 1983 when they moved to Albert Lea. In 1988 they moved to the Mpls/St. Paul area.
Hank enjoyed music, crafts, stained glass and being with his family. He enjoyed attending ballgames of his children and grandchildren and following the Vikings and Twins. Hank always enjoyed a good old western movie.
Hank was a member of the Church of St. Joan of Arc, Minneapolis.
A Memorial Mass was held Saturday, March 17, at Graham Place in St. Paul. Hank was interred at Fort Snelling with full color guard at a private ceremony Monday, March 19. Cards and memorials may be sent to Catherine Borglum, 1745 Graham Ave., Apt. 234, St. Paul, MN 55116.
