Memorial Services for Jerry Dean Bergland, 64, of Albert Lea, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate.

Friends may visit with family one hour before the service at the church.

Jerry died on Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center.

He was born on May 14, 1942, in Lake Mills, Iowa, the son of Helmer and Margaret (Whelan) Bergland. He attended country school. He married Sandra Linquist and to this union three children were born

Troy, Tony and Tess. His hobbies included upholstery, horses and cars.

He is survived by his mother Margaret Bergland of Albert Lea, daughters Tess Kroupa of Albert Lea and Marciey Hunter of Sugar Hill, Ga.; 8 grandchildren: Dustin, Stephanie, Erik, Dylan, Desi, Adeliegh, Christian and Will, great granddaughter Damaris &8220;Demo&8221;, brother Neal Bergland and his wife Clarice of Albert Lea and sister Carolyn and her husband Ronnie Jenson of Emmons, nieces and nephews: Kellie and her husband Dean Anderson and daughter Samantha of Hayward, Breck Jenson and children Mackenzie and Alec of Walters, Kristie and husband Dennis Lau and children Karissa and Dennis of Albert Lea,

Doug Paulson and wife Krystal and daughter Brooke of Albert Lea, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, and sons Troy and Tony.
