Lonitta Nash, 89, Albert Lea

Lonitta (Lony) M. Nash, 89, formerly of Albert Lea, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.

Lonitta was born in Wasioja, on March 5, 1918, the daughter of the late Ervin and Julia (Baumgartner) Boyd. She married Arthur Nash on April 17, 1939, in Hartland. Arthur preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1972.

Lony was a homemaker that enjoyed crafts, arts, sewing, and embroidery. She was active in Eagles Aerie 2258 and the First United Methodist Church in Albert Lea, prior to moving to Wisconsin.

Survivors include daughter, Julianne (Leslie) Suthers, Mosinee; four grandchildren, Joy (Dan) Brixius, Manitowoc, Jay Suthers, Madison, Jim Suthers, L.A., Cali., and Sandy (John) Krause, Hortonville, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Travis Brixius, Manitowoc,

Shawn (Sarah) Krause, and Wendy Wirth, both of Hortonville; five great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A special nephew Julius Johnson and his wife Darlene. Lony was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers and five sisters.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield. The Rev. Larry Treece will officate.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja.

The Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, assisted the family with the arrangements.
