Scholarship money was recently raised in memory of Mitch Brua through an annual pool tournament in his name.

The money was raised through two pool tournaments and a foosball tournament.

The Mitch Brua Scholarship Fund will award two $500 college scholarships to students in the local school district. Applications are available at the high school counselor&8217;s office and must be submitted by March 31. Students can contact Rod Johnson at the high school at 379-5360 with any questions.

Last year&8217;s scholarship recipients were Laura Hillman and Alex Lair who were chosen by a committee.
