Ah, April in Minnesota.

What a nice weekend Albert Lea just had.

Birds.

Sunshine.

Picnics.

Boats.

Snowball fights.

It sure was awkward to see kids playing in the snow while wearing

T-shirts, but then again Old Man Winter never gives up easy here in the northern United States.

Most Minnesotans and Iowans can recall making an April snowman in their youths.

Nevertheless, we collectively hope we have seen the last of winter for this season and are ready to embrace the warmth of spring. Somebody order up a few more sunshine-filled weekends, please.
