Grace Lorimor, 81, Austin

Grace V. Lorimor, 81, of Austin died at Our House Assisted Living Thursday morning, April 19, 2007.

She was born Feb. 8, 1926, to Gunvald &8220;Red&8221; and Thea (Runden) Olson in Hayward, where she grew up and received her elementary education. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in

1944. After graduation, Grace was employed by the Red Owl Store in Austin. She married Dail D. Lorimor on March 24, 1946, at Hayward Lutheran Church.

They made their home in Austin. In 1947 Grace went to work for Geo. A. Hormel & Company, now Hormel Foods Corp, and retired in 1980. A member of Grace Lutheran Church, she belonged to Women of the Moose and Spamtown Sno Drifters. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, crotcheting and knitting.

Dail died Nov. 10, 2000. Grace remained in her own home until 2005 when she moved to Our House Assisted Living.

Survivors include one son, Jack (Sheila) Lorimor of Austin; two daughters, Sherry (Richard) Beilke of Burnsville, Kim (John) Dulitz of Austin; one grandson, Brian Beilke of Crystal; three step grandchildren, Andrew Erkeneff, Stacy Eerkeneff and Ethan Dulitz, all of Austin; three step great grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie (Hal) Rupard of Tucson, Ariz.; Gloria (Robert) Donovan of Austin, Texas; a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Thea and Gunvald Olson; two brothers, Paul and Gordon Olson.
