Myrtle had a lifelong interest in music. She taught herself to play the piano with the help of a correspondence course, at the age of twelve and continued to play throughout her long, healthy, happy life. She loved to write poetry and letters to her children in the early mornings in her home in Cokato. She loved to travel with her husband to visit their children and relatives in Sweden and all over this country, and accompanying her husband on business trips to Europe. She would be packing their bags as soon as there was a new grandchild to arrive, to be there for the happy event to help and give her self. She was well known for her entertaining skills and her public speaking, her soothing prayers and her incredible spiritual inspiration to all.

She will be dearly missed by her family, her friends and community.

We all wish her eternal peace. Goodbye, Myrtle. You will be in our thoughts forever.

The Jesus Way

Whenever tempted to doubt what&8217;s right,

When Satan urges to quit the fight-

There&8217;s a voice within that seems to say,

&8220;Stop and consider the Jesus Way!&8221;

The Jesus Way is honest and true,

It always brings out the best in you.

There&8217;s a Jesus Way to breath a prayer;

There&8217;s a Jesus Way to deal with care.

There&8217;s even a Jesus Way to Love

Our fellowman and God above.

It&8217;s the Jesus love the Jesus Way,

That&8217;ll keep you happy every day.
