Woman transported to hospital

Heather Hoelscher was transported by ambulance to the Albert Lea Medical Center at 5:54 p.m. Thursday after a motorcycle wreck on County Road 46, one mile west of Interstate 90, according to Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office reports.

Reports indicated Hoelscher was driving eastbound on County Road 46, when she drove off the shoulder, lost control of the motorcyle and flipped onto the left side.

She skid to a stop with the motorcycle on top of her until she came to a rest. Reports stated she received incapacitating injuries from the incident.

Individuals cited for DWI

The Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office cited James D. Newton, 30, with fourth-degree DWI charges at 1:25 a.m. today on Interstate 35 near Exit 11, reports stated.

Police cited Donna Lynn Callahan, 46, for third degree DWI and canceled IPS charges at 12:28 a.m. today after a traffic stop near the intersection of Seventh Street and South Broadway Avenue, according to police reports.

Name of injured driver released

BRICELYN &8212; Bradley D. Larson, 29, of Blue Earth, is listed by the Minnesota State Patrol as the person who was injured when a Freightliner semi struck a Union Pacific Railroad train about two miles northwest of Bricelyn at the Faribault County Road 21 crossing at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday. He was listed in critical condition.

Assisting the patrol at the accident scene were the Faribault County Sheriff&8217;s Department, Bricelyn Ambulance and the Frost Fire Department.
