Helen Iverson, 93, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Helen (Adair) Iverson, 93, of Albert Lea, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. Don Rose will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Helen died on Saturday morning, June 30, 2007, at the Good Samaritan Center after a hard fought battle with heart and lung disease.
She was born Feb. 28, 1914, in Albert Lea to Alma (Doc) and Ina Adair. Helen lived in Albert Lea where she met and married Glenn Iverson. Helen and Glenn moved to Big Fork in the early 1950s where they owned and operated the Vouge Cleaners. In 1968, they moved to St. Paul, where they worked at Highland Village Apartments until they retired and moved back to Big Fork until Glenn&8217;s death in 1984. Helen moved to Albert Lea in 1985 where she volunteered at ride service for 20 years.
She is survived by son Jerry Iverson of Mason City and daughter Linda Iverson and very special friend Margaret Cheney both of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alma (Doc) and Ina Adair, husband Glenn Iverson, sisters Katherine Parry, Arlene Moller and brothers Dick and Dean Adair.
Helen&8217;s spirit, humor, love and joy will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched.
