Marcelle (Cornick) Bruley, 90, died July 19, 2007, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Albert Lea. Internment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Marcelle was born May 14, 1917, to Grace and DeLos Cornick. She graduated from Albert Lea High School and lived in this area until her marriage to Henry Bruley, an Army career man. She traveled wherever her husband was stationed. On is retirement from the army, they setttled in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she resided until her death. They had two daughters, Betty and Pat.

She is survived by her daughter, Pat; two granddaughters, Julie and Shannon; and six great-grandchildren. She has one surviving sister, Florence Matz, and two brothers, Daryl and Roger Cornick.

She was preceded in death by husband, Lt. Col. Henry Bruley; parents, Grace and DeLos Cornick; daughter, Betty Wayne; grandson, Brian Kelly; sister, Dorothy Hemenway; and brothers, Charles, James, and Carroll Cornick.

She will be greatly missed by her family in Colorado.
