A single-vehicle crash has reduced Interstate 35 to single lanes, both north and southbound traffic, about one mile south of Elko at the border for Scott and Rice counties Tuesday.

The crash occurred on I-35 northbound between Exit 69 for Lonsdale Boulevard (state Highway 19) and Exit 76 for Deuce Road (Scott County Road 2).

The single-lane closures on both north and south Interstate 35 were in effect for about two hours until maintenance crews removed wreckage.
